Video ‘Earth and Iron’ has been filmed on the site of the iron ore processing plant in Southern Siberia. It features gigantic machinery as it slowly moves across the screen, building a pyramid of the raw material. It is accompanied by a rhythmic soundtrack composed for it by musician John Blackford. I was fascinated by the archaic scenography and the mythological scale of the site. It conveyed an immense power, an evocation of  the archaic geological rituals of the industrial site.
